It is spring in the desert, and I just love the blooms on the cacti at this time of year.  It also seems that these blooms happen overnight and may only last for a day.  It made me think about how these beautiful blooms that are about to flower are like many who are blooming in their career.

We all go through some sort of blooming process.  We need to grow and flourish in our professional lives along with having moments of beauty.  Going through this blooming process helps us grow into our final form, which is our true selves!

We all have the power to bloom and grow into something more, but sometimes we must be patient and wait for the bloom to turn into that beautiful flower.   Sometimes the buds that take the longest to bloom end up being the most beautiful.  When we are starting our career, changing our career or having a pivot in our life, it can end up being the most beautiful processes, but we often just must be patient.

When we go through any of these processes of change, we can shed our fears and prepare to go somewhere that we have never been before.  We don’t want to change completely or become someone else, but it’s about growing into someone that you are more comfortable being than what you are today.

When we talk about these types of changes, we typically talk about younger people that may be growing into who they really want to be.  They may be unsure of who they are and who they want to be.  Young people that are beginning their journey and need our help.  They need to be like a bud that is about to turn into a flower and need to be watched, taken care of and guided.
