As I was reflecting the past few days as we entered 2026 and writing my next blogs/articles, I came across the things that we should all “quit”.   Let’s talk about them in more detail.

  1. Pleasing everyone – you should prioritize yourself as that will lead to healthier relationships, your personal growth and emotional well-being.
  2. Fear of change – no one likes to change but it can help you grow, bring you new opportunities and have a more fulfilling life.
  3. Holding on to the past – by holding onto things that have happened in the past can hinder your growth but letting go can open the path to healing and more meaningful opportunities.
  4. Talking yourself down – when you thing negatively about yourself, you harm your self-esteem, mental health and overall life satisfaction.
  5. Overthinking – quit trapping yourself in a cycle of worry and increased stress which will prevent you from taking productive action.
  6. Hiding your true self – this can cause stress, disconnection and loss of identity.
  7. Doubting your worth – this will limit your growth, well-being and happiness.

Let’s make an agreement to change our conversation for 2026 to:

  1. Please Yourself!
  2. Embrace Change!
  3. Embrace Now!
  4. Use positive self-talk to empower growth, confidence and resilience!
  5. Practice mindfulness and present awareness!
  6. Embrace and express your authentic self!
  7. Empower yourself to live authentically and fully!

Step 1 is to work on changing the conversation!
