As I was reflecting the past few days as we entered 2026 and writing my next blogs/articles, I came across the things that we should all “quit”. Let’s talk about them in more detail.
- Pleasing everyone – you should prioritize yourself as that will lead to healthier relationships, your personal growth and emotional well-being.
- Fear of change – no one likes to change but it can help you grow, bring you new opportunities and have a more fulfilling life.
- Holding on to the past – by holding onto things that have happened in the past can hinder your growth but letting go can open the path to healing and more meaningful opportunities.
- Talking yourself down – when you thing negatively about yourself, you harm your self-esteem, mental health and overall life satisfaction.
- Overthinking – quit trapping yourself in a cycle of worry and increased stress which will prevent you from taking productive action.
- Hiding your true self – this can cause stress, disconnection and loss of identity.
- Doubting your worth – this will limit your growth, well-being and happiness.

- Practice mindfulness and present awareness!
