WOW…I can’t believe that 2025 is over and that we almost in 2026! Whenever a New Year comes around, I like to reflect on the past year and set intentions for the next year (note that I did not say resolutions). I have talked before about how having an intention will help you move the needle toward that intention.
Some of the things you may want to reflect on as you look at 2025 are:
What brought you joy last year? And what didn’t?
What did you learn last year from challenges you had?
What are you most grateful for as the year ends?
By looking at what happened in 2025, you can then look ahead to 2026 to help process what you experienced, set goals and create a plan for what is ahead. Some of the things to consider for 2026 are:
What can you change for 2026 to make you energized (emotionally or physically)?
What are you hopeful for in the year ahead?
As you set your intentions, make sure that you don’t have TOO many things. Choose your top one or two things to guide you into the new year. One other thing that I will say is make sure your intentions include time for fun and rest! We all NEED rest and NEED to make it a priority!
