Did you ever feel like you were continually climbing a mountain?  That your life has challenges and obstacles and you can never reach the peak of that mountain?  How do you get there?

Of course, we must talk about the perseverance and resilience that you need to overcome to make it to the top of that mountain.  As a climber faces difficulties making it to the top of the mountain, you must also face challenges to grow and learn from your experiences.  All of these challenges led to personal development and self-improvement.

What about when we make it to the top of the mountain? How do you feel?  You should be proud of your achievement just like when you take that broad view of your journey and your accomplishments, you should be proud.  And you should take a minute to celebrate those achievements before you start to tackle a new one!

What if you can’t make it to the top of the mountain by yourself?  You may need the support of your community.  Having a community and allowing them to help you may allow you to get to the top of that mountain.  Don’t be afraid to ask for support and help if you need it!

Finally, when you do reach the top of that mountain make sure you spend the time celebrating but also enjoying the view.  The beauty at the top of the mountain equates to the beauty of your life.  Don’t discount the journey that it took to get there and the reward of the beauty around you.  The challenge of climbing that mountain is also the reward.

“Be prepared to climb from peak to peak in your life and career.  Just as a mountain climber who has reached one peak must go down into the valley to climb another peak, your life will be the same.  Your life and career will be a series of ups and downs.”  Brian Tracy
