Let’s talk this week about being INTENTIONAL! There are so many pieces of intentionality when we talk about ourselves. One of the biggest pieces of being intentional is that we make choices based on our personal values, beliefs and goals.
When we talk about being intentional, it doesn’t mean that we have to change everything in our life. It just means that we should make deliberate choices that lead to a specific result. We can set an intention each morning by taking some time to meditate and really figure out what is important for our day and if what we are intending to do is bringing us toward our values and goals. In the beginning of doing this practice it may not be joyful, peaceful or easy…but ultimately you will find it to be powerful. Also by having something to look forward to each day is part of being intentional!
Intentionality also helps us to make choices that carry us through life as opposed to letting life decide our direction. Try not to be distracted by things that pull us away from our values and intentions. And most importantly, learn to stop caring what others think and care about what you think!
