In my final princess post about Why I Love Disney, I want to talk about Minnie Mouse.  Minnie is not considered a princess by Disney standards in that she has not been the lead character in any Disney feature film.  That being said she is portrayed as kind, caring, and resourceful, and is beloved by fans around the world for her enduring charm and personality.  And she is my favorite!!

Minnie Mouse however does have a profound influence on popular culture, from her iconic fashion sense to her portrayal as a strong and independent female character. Her image has become synonymous with Disney.  She also is also an inspiration to the entire Disney brand and culture.

So, what can we learn from Minnie Mouse?  She is a symbol of femininity, grace, and charm. Her unique fashion sense and her bow have become iconic symbols of her character. She is a representation of both beauty and poise. Her wardrobe and her playful personality showcase a sophisticated yet fun side to feminine energy.

Minnie Mouse is also symbolic of perseverance and resilience. Throughout her long journey with Mickey Mouse, she has overcome numerous obstacles with grace and strength. She embodies the qualities of a true heroine, who never gives up and always stands up for herself and others. Her fun-loving and adventurous spirit is a reminder that we too can overcome any odds and find happiness and joy in life.

I also love that Minnie has evolved over the years.  She was originally created to be a counterpart to Mickey Mouse along with having a romantic relationship.  She was initially portrayed as a damsel in distress and a support to Mickey but over the years she has taken on more leading roles and with that has become more independent and assertive.

My lesson:  Minnie teaches us the importance of kindness, friendships, staying true to ourselves, following our dreams and maintaining a positive attitude!
