Elsa and Anna are princesses of the Kingdom of Arendelle. They are not listed as a part of the official Disney Princess Franchise. However, I am including them as I feel they should be!
Elsa and Anna teach us so many important lessons including the strength of sisterly love. Anna’s willingness to sacrifice herself for Elsa and Elsa’s efforts to protect Anna demonstrate that true love often involves selflessness and sacrifice. They both face their fears, Elsa when she struggles with her powers and Anna in her determination to help her sister.
They also both also help their relationship when they start communicating openly. Honest communication and understanding will always help resolve conflicts and strengthen a relationship. They also shows the importance of family and friends. The bond of the sisters along with their friendships with Kristoff and Olaf, show that supportive relationships are essential for happiness and success.
The final two lessons are about resilience and perseverance along with embracing your true self. The sisters face numerous challenges but never give up and ultimately they achieve their goals. When we talk about embracing our true self, it is really Elsa who must accept her abilities. She finds that hiding causes more harm than good and how by practicing acceptance we become true to ourselves.
My lesson: Embrace our true selves, face our fears, and value the love and support of those around us.
