Belle is the second princess of the Renaissance era. The story of the Belle (Beauty and the Beast) is adapted from a French fairy tale. Belle decides to be the prisoner of the Beast in order to free her father who was imprisoned by the Beast and then gradually befriends him despite his outward appearance.
There are several morals that we can definitely learn from this story. The first for me is that our inner beauty is way more important than our outer appearance. Belle falls in love with the Beast’s kind and gentle nature and not his looks. The other thing that this story shows is that love can transform us and bring out the best in us.
The final morale of the story of Beauty and the Beast is about selflessness and sacrifice. Belle sacrifices her own freedom to save her father and then the Beast lets Belle go to take care of her father knowing that it may mean that she remains a beast forever.
My lesson: The importance of looking beyond superficial qualities and valuing kindness, compassion and love.
